The leaves and roots of dandelions, Bermuda grass, foxtail, thistle, velvetleaf and other bothersome plants. Heat the vinegar to give it added punch. You might need to spray hardy weeds more than once but if you keep at it, you may wipe them out for good. Be careful not to spray plants you want to keep.
