Light, well-drained, potting soil consisting of peat moss, perlite, vermicultie and/or coarse sand. Water lightly until leaves show. Increase watering. Water around base of plant or from bottom. With bottom watering, let plant soak in saucer up to an hour. Remove. They are sensitive to cold water. Avoid splashing cold water on leaves or in crown.
