Slime, chew flowers, stems, shoots and leaves, as well as roots, tubers, bulbs and corms. They feed mainly at night, hiding under pots, boxes and plant debris during the day. Control by picking off and destroying. In greenhouses, place small heaps of slug and snail bait around affected plants. Hide under tins or slates to prevent pets eating them.
