Drying isn’t the only option for preserving freshly harvested basil

Drop your basil into a blender with some water. Run blender and pour the mixture into an ice cube tray. Let freeze. Store your basil cubes in plastic bags in freezer. Take out as desired to throw into a pot of soup or a spaghetti sauce.
