Individual containers 2-3 weeks before last spring frost. Plant in soil prewarmed with black plastic for a week or two. When soil is warm enough, remove black plastic and plant seedlings. Set out carefully. Try not to disturb roots. In warmer climates, sow seeds 2 weeks after last expected spring frost, or when soil temperatures reach 60°.
