Pollination. Grow long-fruited cucumbers on trellis. Space trellised plants 6-10” apart. Short, blunt slicers and pickling cucumbers can be trellised or run on ground. When planted in hill and allowed to run, grow 3-4 plants to a 4” hill spaced 1-2’ apart. Mulch to keep soil moist, warm. Germination should take 5-10 days.
