Passed. Because seed is very small, mix half-and-half with fine sand to prevent over seeding. Plant 1/4-1/2” deep. Firm seed gently with back of hoe or rake. Carrots are slow germinators (1-3 weeks). Best when soil is 80°. Seedlings tolerate air temperatures at l45° but will grow slowly. Optimum growth happens at 60°-70°.
