Late spring and lay clusters of yellow eggs on the undersides of bean leaves. They hatch 10 days later into spiny yellow larvae that rasp holes in leaves as they feed. Cover bush beans with rowcovers when they are 4” tall and remove the covers about a month later when the plants develop numerous white flowers.
