Aphids away. In fall, when temperatures are cool, plant cloves 4-8” apart in fertile, slightly moist, well-drained soil. Harvest garlic before the temperature gets too warm. Eight to 10 days before harvest, stop watering and let the soil dry thoroughly before digging up the bulbs.
