Big enough to eat, 4-5” long. Pick large outer leaves or slice entire plant off about 1” above soil line, prompting plant to send out new growth, reaching eating size in 3-5 weeks. Harvest mornings when leaves are crisp and full of moisture. If crop begins to bolt or is threatened by a hard frost, harvest entire plant.
