Kelp sprays improve fruit set and enhance bud hardiness. Apply 2-3 sprays of kelp/compost tea, 2 tablespoons of kelp per gallon of tea from when flowers form in the spring until just before full bloom. Liquid kelp is available at any garden or home improvement center.
