Harden them off by setting containers outside in a lightly shaded spot sheltered from strong winds. Set plants out for a few hours, gradually increasing amount of time they spend outdoors and amount of sun they receive. Transplant to garden on a cloudy, still day, if possible. Water well. Provide temporary shade if weather becomes very warm and sunny.
