Its top. That’s where the stem will grow from. Plant this tip facing up, slightly under the soil, with several tubers side-by-side. If you can’t find the tuber’s top, look for the convex, or rounded out, side. At the very least, plant the tuber on its edges. The stem will find its own way out of the soil.
