Tomatoes. They should be about 2’ wide and 4-6’ tall. Anchor well by pushing cages deep into the ground or lashing them to sturdy stakes. Install cages soon after transplanting and then mulch the ground. Cages are often preferred in warm climates where tomatoes grow into large, lush plants.
