Acclimate your seedlings before transplanting them outside by….

Setting them outside for a few hours in a sheltered area. Leave them out longer each day until they can stay out all night. This will prepare young plants for the transition from their inside stable, incubator-like environment to the wind, sunlight and fluctuating temperatures of the outdoors. They should do well after their transplanting.
