Plants and save the vegetables from disease and rotting. Set 6-foot tall, 1–2 inch wide stakes 3-4 feet apart between the plants (down the center of the row). Once plants are a foot tall string the twine down each row. Wrap around each stake. At the end of the row work the twine back in the opposite direction.
