Matured and reached 6-7 feet tall. There are two ways you can prune: In spring right after they have finished flowering. This allows new shoots plenty of time to grow and develop buds for next season. Or, if your plant is really old and stopped flowering, prune in late winter, early spring while the shrub is still dormant.
