Mulching with shredded ground redwood bark from recycled redwood

Best for long-term soil conditioning. Provides better air circulation. Increases soil acidity as it gradually decomposes. Fibrous, coarse textured product helps reduce weed growth. If applied too thickly, it can inhibit water from getting down to the soil. Mostly carbon, it is best to put a layer of compost down first. Apply 2-3 inches deep.
