Baked Brie:
Needed: Puff Pastry sheet, One Egg, one Brie Cheese roll, your favorite jam/jelly/preserves.  | | plate of baked brie |
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Lay the puff pastry flat on a cookie sheet. Slice the Brie in half through the middle of the cheese. Fill with jam! Place the top of the Brie back on top of the jam. Fold puff pastry sides over the top. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve with granny smith apples or water crackers! This is a very simple appetizer - you can even use your creativity! Add nuts, cinnamon, candy to the top if you would like!
Cheesy Spinach and Artichoke Dip:
Needed: 1 can artichoke hearts (drained and finely chopped), 1 package of frozen chopped spinach (thawed and drained), 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup 2% shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients, spoon into 9-inch quiche dish or pie plate. Bake 20 minutes or until heater through. Serve with crackers and/or assorted cut-up vegetables!
Baked Crab Rangoon:
Needed: 1 can white crabmeat (drained & flaked), 4oz Neufchatel Cheese, 2 green onions (thinly sliced), 1/4 cup mayo, 12 won ton wrappers.
Heat over to 350 degrees. Mix first four ingredients. Place one won ton in each cup of a muffin pan. Fill with crab mixture. Bake 18-20 minutes or until the edges of the cups are golden brown.
Salsa Roll-Ups:
Needed: 4oz Neufchantel Cheese, 3 Tbsp of your favorite salsa, 4 flour tortillas, 1/2 cup mexican shredded cheese, 1/4 tsp. chili powder.
Mix neufchantel and salsa, spread on tortillas. Top with remaining ingredients. Roll up tortillas tightly. Cut each crosswise into 5 slices.
Cream Cheese Bacon Cresents:
Needed: 1 tub of chive & onion cream cheese, 3 slices bacon (cooked & crumbled), 2 cans of crescent dinner rolls
Heat over to 375 degrees. Mix cream cheese spread and bacon until well blended. Separate each can of dough into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise in half. Spread each dough triangle with one generous tsp. of cream cheese mixture. Roll up and place on baking sheet.
