Rain barrels conserve water while saving you money

Place your rain barrel under the rain gutters. Some have convenient spouts near the bottom, some have hose hookups, and others require that water be removed from the top of the barrel. If your barrel doesn't have a spout, you can purchase one and install it yourself. Always cover the top with a screen to keep out debris.
