Putting together a travel visa involves more than filling out an application. You have to meet certain requirements before your visa may be issued. Follow these tips on meeting the correct travel visa requirements and receive your own US travel visa.
No criminal history. You prove this by including police certificates with your visa application. You must request a police certificate from every place you have lived since you were 16 years old stating that you have not been involved in any criminal activity.
Financially able or supported. You must prove that you have enough money to pay for your entire trip to the US including a return flight home. This can be done by providing copies of bank statements and bringing them with you to your visa interview. If you do not have enough money to pay for the trip you must have a sponsor from the US fill out a financial sponsorship form stating that they will pay for your trip. It must be clear that the US financial supporter has the financial ability to pay for their international visitor’s stay.
Have reasons to return home. The US Government must have no doubt that you intend to return to your home country after your visit across US borders. You must prove that you cannot remain in the US as an illegal immigrant. You can do this by showing enrollment and payment papers to attend school in your home country after your vacation, home and business ownership papers, a prominent and steady job, etc.
To be in good health. You must include in your application package a form filled out by an approved doctor that you pass the health inspection required to enter the US. This includes receiving certain vaccinations if you have not already done so. Your specific US embassy can give you a list of approved doctor’s that perform the necessary medical examination.
Hold a true identity. Your identity should not be in question. Your name needs to be the same on your passport, birth certificate and issued identification card.
