Cleaning your house does not have to be a daunting task. Here are some tips that I know on quickly cleaning your house:
 | Turn on your favorite music and jam out while you work |
Look through each room in your house or apartment to see what needs to be cleaned. Think about the products and tools you will need to accomplish each cleaning task. Estimate the amount of time you will need to spend cleaning each room. Planning out your cleaning session will help give yourself enough time to get the whole job done.
Implore the people you live with to help you. Remind them that you all created the mess together (some more than others of course) and everyone should pitch in to clean it up. You will clean your house much faster with more hands. Cleaning with others can also be fun. Make it a party!
Gather all the cleaning supplies that you need for each room. Organize the products in a bucket or a tote to keep them all together. Also figure out the kind of sponges/rags/scour-pads you’ll need to use. Save yourself from having to search for products and tools every five minutes. You’ll be surprised at how much faster this will make your cleaning job.
Get rid of any distractions you might have during your job. Turn your phone on silent. Don’t get in a text conversation with your friends. Turn your computer off and don’t check your email. In our age we have more distractions in our home than ever before. Tune out the noise and get to work.
Cleaning your house doesn’t have to be arduous. Turn on your favorite music and jam out while you work. Make a playlist of good work songs. Here are some good ones: “Whistle While You Work”- Snow White, “She Works Hard For The Money”-Donna Summer, “Lets Get It Started” Black Eyed Peas. Let the music motivate you to get the job done quickly!
