Homemade energizing drink

Simmer 1 cup honey and 3 cups water slowly. Let 1 cup of the water evaporate. Strain off the surface. Put remaining liquid into a stoneware crock or dark bottle. Put a towel over it so it can breathe, yet be free of dirt. Place in cool place. Add cinnamon, clove, or the juice of 2 lemons, if desired.
