Eat foods that boost your immune system.

Get lots of rest.
Sleep is the best thing you can do to fight off the common cold. As soon as you feel cold symptoms, start to take it easy. Go to bed early and if you can, let yourself sleep in and take naps during the day. Get at least 8 hours of restful sleep a night. If you have problems going to bed on time, cut out the amount of caffeine you take in during the day, and take an hour to wind down and relax at night before bedtime.
Drink lots of liquids.
Drink lots of naturally-derived liquids when you’re sick. Keeping fluids going through your system flushes toxins and viruses out of your body and helps you to get better faster. As a whole your body runs better fully hydrated, so keeping liquids flowing through you is the best way to keep your body in tip top shape to fight the cold virus as fast as possible.
