Replace mismatched, space-consuming plastic food containers with new matching ones that stack or nest. Buy fewer than you think you need. If you occasionally need extra food storage, use disposable containers sold at supermarkets. Give your new acquisitions their own drawer or bin to keep lids and containers from drifting apart.
