Damaged hair? Cracked feet? Oily skin? Do you have these problems, but you do not want to spend a ton of money on product to help you look and feel better about your apperance? Here are a few remedies that you can use to correct these problems that you can find right in your fridge or medicine cabinet.
Asprin: Crush five or six pills and mix in a bowl with half teaspoon of water and half teaspoon of lemon juice. This mixture will help soften calluses on your feet. Coat your calluses with the mixture and cover with a warm cloth for ten minutes.
Yogurt: Eating yogurt with active cultures of L. acidophilus can help prevent yeast infections. However, be sure that the yogurt has active cultures and is not pasteurized.
Hot Sauce: Spicy sauce and hot mustard can act like an expectorant towards colds. Eating spicy foods regulary helps thin our any secretions of colds and allergies and help boost your metabolism.
Garlic: Garlic can kill viruses and bacteria that cause colds and the flu.
Milk and Honey: Pour a mixture of a half cup of liquid honey and three cups of powered milk in a bath for a soothing, relaxing soak.
Oatmeal: Mix up half a packet of instant oatmeal with hot water. Let cool slightly and cover over your face. This will act as a soother and mild exfoliant. Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse with cool water.
Eggs: Mix one egg white and a few drops of lemon juice and spread it over your face for a firming mast that combats oily skin. For dry skin, use egg yolk instead of the white and add a teaspoon of money. Let sit on your face for ten minutes with cool water.
Mayo: This is a fabulous deep conditioning treatment for your hair! Coat your strands with mayo, cover your hair with a plastic cap, and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
