Tips for Unpacking

Now, after you have moved everything in to your new place, let the fun begin.  Here are a few tips to help your unpack stress free and without feeling out of control!!

• Unpack the bedroom items first - you will need these items for the first night you move in.
• Do not unpack delicate boxes while standing up.  Always open these items over the box it came in.  It would just be too easy to unroll your packing paper only to have your champagne flute or glass vase slip out of the other end and crash on the floor. 
• Tackle the boxes one room at a time.
• Do not get tempted and open more than a few boxes at a time.  You will wind up overwhelmed and have a big mess on your hands.
• Save some of your boxes - you can use them to store Christmas decor and/or other other seasonal items.
• As soon as you unpack your kitchen items, put them straight in the dishwasher.  Give them a quick clean before you put them away.
