The cinnamon plant is used to treat influenza, infant diarrhea, malaria, nausea and vomiting, toothaches and for the cleaning of wounds. Cinnamon is also thought of as an anti-microbial food because it stops the growth of bacterial and fungi. It is also a natural food preservative.
