Vinegar helps cut flowers last longer

To extend the life of cut flowers, make a mixture of 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 2 tablespoons maple syrup or 1 tablespoon of sugar. Add the mixture to a vase full of water. It is best to change the water daily.
