If a cat sprays your furniture or carpet, saturate the area with white vinegar (test on a small, hidden area first). Blot it up with a towel. Repeat the process until the odor is gone. After the area is dry, sprinkle the spot with baking soda, allow it to sit or an hour, then vacuum.
