The phenomenon of eBay is that is has become a modern day world wide marketplace. The general idea is to buy and make products and then sell them on eBay. Here are a few tips that I picked up that can help you make successful eBay sales.
Research before you Sell
Determine how much to spend and how much you will make by gauging buyer interest of similar products to what you are looking to sell. Make note of how much something sells for before you invest in a large quantity of a product.
Post Professional Pictures
People likely aren't going to look at your product if they can't see a picture of it. Do your best to take or get a hold of professional quality pictures of the product you are selling. People want to see what they are buying. The better quality the picture, the more buyers you will attract.
Write Simply and Detailed
The description of your product is just as important as the picture. Use words that are simple and sentences that are short and easy to read. Make sure to include descriptive words to define your product and entice buyers. List why your product is better than others, what kind of condition it is in and what features it has.
Pay Attention to Shipping
Research for the cheapest and most reliable way to ship your products to your buyers. Always include the shipping cost in your description of the product so you appear honest and forthcoming. If it is more expensive than normal, explain why your shipping method is still a better choice and more reliable.
Payment Options
The more payment options you accept the more buyers you will attract. Include credit cards and paypal as payment options.
Establish a Track Record
Hold off on listing high prices until your feedback is very positive and you build a good reputation. People are more willing to purchase expensive items when they know they are buying from a reliable source.
