Your eye skin is the first to show age, wrinkles and weariness. Eliminate dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles around your eyes by following these 6 easy tips.

  • Massage yourself.

Use the tips of your fingers and massage the skin around your eyes in small circular motions.  Gently massaging the skin under and around your eyes stimulates the tiny capillaries and increases blood flow.  This reduces fluid build up and eliminates dark circles, puffiness and bags.

  • Use a fluffy pillow.

A pillow that raises your head above the rest of your body reduces fluid build up under your eyes.  You can avoid bags and puffiness this way. Make sure to support your neck and back properly to avoid strain.

  • Antioxidants are the way to go.

Use creams under your eyes with the ingredients eyeliss and halyoxy. These contain antioxidants that enable better blood circulation in the skin.  Using the proper creams will help the skin under your eyes to firm and be less fragile, reducing dark circles, puffiness and wrinkles.

  • Don’t Light Up

Smoking is the most damaging thing you can do for your skin. It causes premature wrinkles by destroying the collagen in your skin, especially around your eyes. Collagen is what gives your skin its elasticity.  Smoking also reduces your skin’s ability to absorb vital nutrients by restricting blood flow through the capillaries.

  • Catch your Z’s

Getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night helps your body properly repair your skin, leaving it rejuvenated and refreshed looking.  You can easily reduce black circles and puffiness by going to bed a few hours earlier.

  • Wear your shades

Any time you are in the sun wear sunglasses that have lenses large enough to cover not only your eyes but also the surrounding eye skin. This protects the delicate skin under your eyes from harmful UVB rays.  The sun’s damaging UVB rays decrease the skin’s ability to repair itself.

Glasses also reduce the amount of squinting you do, which causes wrinkles over time. Reducing your eye skin’s exposure to sun is one of the most crucial things you can do to minimize aging and turn back the clock.
