Choose a nice place with a good reputation to get your ears pierced; Claire's is a good place or else go to a professional salon.
Bring a parent if you are underage.
Make sure you clean your ears afterwards with antiseptic that the place will give you. Soak cotton balls in antiseptic and soak onto piercing. Do this three times a day. Twist earrings at least once a day - for six weeks? Don't change them for six weeks, and keep earrings in at all times for six months.
Sleep on your back.
Be careful around your ears as you change clothes and take showers. Clean ears after showers.
