Cooking of rice

Do not stir or lift the cover unless instructed in the recipe. Wild rice and barley may become tender without absorbing all the liquid. If necessary, drain before serving or combining with other recipe ingredients. For fluffier rice, remove the saucepan from the heat after the cooking time is complete and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
