Leave a little note in an expected place.
In the refrigerator, on the car's steering wheel, the bathroom mirror, the possible places are endless. It doesn’t have to be fancy. Simply scratch out on a sticky-note those all important words - "I love you."
Utilize your text message plan.
Send a random text in the middle of the day telling your love how much you appreciate them or enjoyed last time you saw one another. If your cell phone plan has pictures or video capabilities - say a message or video or send a message along with a picture of you.
Snail mail your way to love.
Especially if you are long distance, sending a card or letter in the mail adds and extra touch of joy to the day. Don't tell your love that it is coming! There is nothing like a little "I love you" surprise while sifting through the stack of bills.
Bring your love some sweets.
Bringing over brownies or cookies has never failed to please a man, and chocolate is the way to the heart of a woman. Surprise your sweetheart by arriving at their doorstep with their favorite sweets.
Burn a CD of songs.
While conventional and maybe a little bit old fashioned, a mix of songs has never failed at saying “I love you.” Be creative and choose songs that remind you of a funny moment or a trip you shared together. And of course those songs that fit your specific romantic situation and say how much you love them. Include a note that explains why you chose each song on the CD.
