I’m sure you’ve heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I can attest that this is true. I have noticed that when I heat a healthy breakfast every morning I loose weight, feel better about myself, and have energy throughout the day. Here are some tips to eating a healthy breakfast
 | Blueberries and yogurt are rich in antioxidants and vitamins | Slurp up a Breakfast Smoothie
Breakfast smoothies are a great healthy choice for mornings. You dump 1 cup of fruit, 1 cup of yogurt and 2 cups of ice or sugar free fruit juice or non-fat milk in the blender, grind, pour into a cup and you're ready to go. You can drink your smoothie while getting ready for the day or while on the road.
Be Ready to Eat on the Go
Stock your kitchen with things that are easy to grab and eat while running out the door. Often the main reason people skip breakfast is because they don't have time in the morning. Some good examples are bananas, pre-made whole-grain bagels with light cream cheese, apples, and pre-boiled and cut egg whites.
Blueberries and Yogurt
Blueberries are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C and E. Mix them in a bowl of non-fat vanilla yogurt or sprinkle them on whole grain and oat cereal in the morning.
Good Old Fashioned Bowl of Cereal
Cereal low in sugar, high in fiber and protein for breakfast gives you a healthy energy boost to the day. The healthy carbohydrates in the cereal will give you energy all day long. Use non-fat milk and a small bowl to help control portion size.
