The best of us suffer from breakouts, myself included. Clear, glowing, beautiful skin can improve your appearance and give you confidence. I found that you can reduce acne and blemishes by following these 4 easy tips. 
Cleanse Properly
- Restrict the amount of times you wash your face a day to once or twice. Washing your face more than 3 times a day removes all the natural oil from your skin and can cause a condition known as seborrhea. This is when your oil glands try to compensate for the loss of natural oils in your skin and over produce oil which leads to excessive breakouts.
- Do not wash your face with tap water, which contains chlorine, fluoride and other chemicals that damage the skin on your face. Natural mineral water, purified water and alcohol free cleaning toner are the best choices for washing your face.
- Never rub your skin dry which can damage and irritate skin. Instead, pat yourself dry with a towel.
Use organic skin care products.
- Organic products naturally boost production of proteins in your skin and work with your body to stimulate your skin’s cleansing and detoxifying processes.
- Alcohol and petroleum based skin care products damage skin and can be the cause of blemishes and breakouts. Preservatives, fragrances and coloring can be harmful to your skin by causing rashes, irritations and sometimes even promote cancer growth.
Nourish your body.
- Include foods in your diet that have omega 3, natural acids, vitamin A, vitamin C and antioxidant properties and essential oils. Flax seed oil, eggs, fish, organic butter, fruits, green vegetables, seeds, buts and grains are essential to include in your diet for clear, healthy skin.
- Drinking enough water is a huge part of keeping your skin clear. When you are hydrated your skin can cleanse your pores and detoxify itself properly. Alcohol and caffeine dehydrate your body, so avoid these if at all possible.
Do not smoke.
- Smoking restricts blood flow through the capillaries in your skin and reduces vital nutrient absorption leading to dull, blemished skin. Smoking also causes premature wrinkles and a leathery complexion.
- Damage done to your skin by smoking is reversible once you quit smoking. So stop now and give your skin a chance to revitalize itself.
