What to wear to a beach wedding

Wedding celebration is a very special occasion not only for bride and groom but also for people who are invited to the wedding. Some couples prefer a beach as a location for this special event. When it comes to beach wedding attire, people usually are puzzled on what to wear.

Here are a few suggestions on what to wear for a beach wedding:

For women:

• Long or short sun dresses. There are many short and long sundresses that made for special occasions. Typically, these dresses are made from silk and have some patterns. The most popular patterns have flowers, for example, sunflowers or roses. 
• Light weighted pants and boho-style shirts. Another good choice to wear to a beach wedding is light-weighted pants and boho-style shirts. Because a beach wedding is usually under the sun, it is important to wear the appropriate attire. These clothes will keep you cool and at the same time they will make you look pretty.
• Fancy flip flops or sandals. Picking clothes to wear to the beach wedding can be challenging, but choosing the right foot wear can be even more difficult. My advice is to find a pair of cute flip flops that have interesting strings that might tell a story. This way you wouldn’t feel that you are wearing regular flip flops.

For men:

• Hawaiian type shirt. The best upper wear for men is to wear a Hawaiian style shirt.  This style is appropriate for any beach party event. It doesn’t represent Hawaii any more.
• Slacks. Slacks or light- weighted pants are perfect clothes to wear to a beach wedding.  They are breathable and will keep you cool throughout the wedding.
• Sandals. The footwear for the beach wedding has to be light and breathable. Sandals are the best footwear for this occasion.
